Artist's Comments

This is my first illustration project for the year, seeing as I'm back at uni an all now I get to do illustration again ^_______________^ One good thing about uni is the productivity rate that is forced upon you, you look back and you have produced a physical amount of work. The illustration class makes me prove I can do the things I already know I can do.

The idea behind this one is it's an illustration for a an article in a parenting magazine. The theme of the article is the pressures on children that come with the schooling system.

Incredible message. I like how everyone's different, yet when it boils down, they're all the same. The graininess and black & white just add to it! +fav!

thats amazing... is this done with pencil? i love everything about it... the way they stand, their faces, or lack-there-of, then the frosting on the cake, the crosses and checks, really conveying some awesome messages. an instant classic!
